Actress Triptii Dimri has been raking in love and adoration for her role of Zoya in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Despite her short role, fans have been going gaga over her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor. As the movie reaches new heights of success every day, she recalled her initial struggle in Bollywood and revealed that her parents were extremely unhappy with her decision to join the entertainment industry to become an actress.

Talking about the same during an interaction with Instant Bollywood, the 29-year-old actress relived the initial days of her career and spoke about how she had traveled to Mumbai all alone to achieve her dreams of becoming an actress. She went on to share that her parents were not happy with her decision, due to which she couldn’t inform them when she needed money. Explaining how even after receiving work an actor needs to show patience, Pinkvilla quoted her saying, “I just left home and I came to Bombay. My parents were not happy with my decision so there were days when I knew I had to be in Bombay, I couldn’t ask for money. Triptii went on to add that it was her sister and friends who stood by her decision and helped and supported her during the entire process. She also got nostalgic while talking about how she was going to floor-to-floor auditions to bag a good role.
